About Fern

Earthy. Bold. Subtly glamorous. The signature Erica Tanov pattern, directly inspired by Tanov’s favorite muse and possible obsession. 

Fern is the repeated motif taken from Erica’s drawing of the shadow of an Australian tree fern that appears on her  front porch as the morning sun shines. Found throughout Erica Tanov collections, from clothing, bedding, home textiles, wallpaper, cement tile, as well as the cover of her book, Design By Nature, Fern is a study of the perfectly imperfect. A modern, bold interpretation of an otherworldly wonder.

Made in India. 100% Cotton. Machine wash cool and tumble dry.

Fern motif is block-printed by hand. Any irregularity in printing should be not be viewed as a defect but rather celebrated as a hallmark of the hand-made process used to make this piece.
